Changed my registration from Democrat to Republican just so I can vote for him in the primaries. He goes against the Military Industrial Complex, that's a big thing, he's the ONLY ONE doing it, that makes him a bigger thing. Him and Kucinich are good friends and before you criticize him to much you might ask why. A lot of Veterans are standing behind him, because we are tired of being used to protect corporate interests around the world. Anyways here's my two cents on it:

Now that Kucinich has dropped out of the race there is only one candidate who wants to bring our troops home from Iraq yesterday and voted no on war funding, that is Ron Paul. So that means that everybody who wants peace and was voting for Kucinich will now vote for Ron Paul. For those who will say, “I will never vote for a Republican.” Can you explain why Kucinich had this to say about Ron Paul?
"I'm thinking about Ron Paul" as a running mate, Kucinich told a crowd of about 70 supporters at a house party here, one of numerous stops throughout New Hampshire over the Thanksgiving weekend. A Kucinich-Paul administration could bring people together "to balance the energies in this country," Kucinich said.
I watched the video clip and even posted it on my blog, Kucinich further explained that the Eagle that represents our country has both a right and left wing.
Ok, maybe you don’t agree with everything Kucinich says, well you know what, I don’t agree with everything Ron Paul says.
Someone kindly explained to me that Ron Paul is no Pacifist, well you know what, none of the presidential candidates are, but only one of them wants the troops to come home yesterday, and not only from Iraq, but from AROUND the world, and never voted to fund the war. Like all the other countries in the world who’s soldiers protect only their homeland, Ron Paul (who is supposed be for big business) believes that it is unconstitutional for our troops to be protecting oil interests. That’s the job of the oil companies, not the U.S. Government. So what does Ron Paul get for being the only presidential candidate to make a stand for the soldiers and ask them not to do more than their oath to duty. Nothing, and he’s lucky if he doesn’t get assassinated. Billions in profits could be lost. That could easily explain why when Ron Paul came in second in Nevada, all the major news channels failed to mention even his name. And now in Louisiana where he is in second and possibly in first place if the GOP will count all the votes who are also trying to cheat him out of delegates.
Ok so, Ron Paul thinks abortion is wrong and also unconstitutional, BUT believes the states should decide, yet strangely received an endorsement from Roe. Ok, I think Roe is wrong and Ron Paul, but do I believe that more soldiers should die so that women can easily have abortions, no! that’s nuts. Should our foreign policy that fans the flames of terrorism around the world continue so that women can continue to easily have abortions, no! Since 1991 to today over 2 million Iraqis have died because of our actions and as Ron Paul tries to explain, is it no wonder that 9/11 occurred, and worse to come if we continue. But should we let this continue so that women can easily have abortions. What do you support? Is it peace, and ask yourself, are you a Pacifist?
Concerning Gays, Lesbians and marriage, Ron Paul doesn’t want to run our lives and believes in liberty and freedom and wishes to end the drug war. America who imprisons more people than any other country in the world should be ashamed to call itself the land of the free with over 2 million in prison, not including the prisoners we now keep in jails around the world.
December first, 2006 Washington Post: “A record 7 million people -- one in every 32 U.S. adults -- were behind bars, on probation or on parole by the end of last year, a Justice Department report released yesterday shows. Of those, 2.2 million were in prison or jail, an increase of 2.7 percent over the previous year, according to the report.”
Ron Paul does not believe in a Welfare State, he does promise to take care of the poor. The Government will be more equipped to take care of the poor once it ends our war in Iraq and closes all of our bases around the world where we don’t belong, but here’s a twist. With a more balanced budget the value of the dollar increases, the cost of living goes down and our wages are worth more, we will have fewer welfare recipients. For example, my mother had a good paying job but it wasn’t enough against inflation to support all five of us kids by herself. If Ron Paul was president my mother wouldn’t have been on welfare, her paycheck would have been enough to support us.
There may be a hundred things you might disagree with Ron Paul on, but it doesn’t matter, because it’s the will of the people, not the executive branch that rules in Ron Paul’s America based on the constitution.
So rock on Ron Paul
Power to the people
And may you live out your life in peace and prosperity
Amen to that man
