Oh, oh, Mayor Brown mentioned that Jesse did in 1984 what Obama
is doing now, that is, energizing new voters that will come out and vote in the GE. He gave Jesse credit for helping the Dems win the congress in 1986.

Will the Obama campaign supporters now accuse Mayor Brown of "playing the race card" ore "race baiting" as they did when Bill Clinton said much the same thing?

I'm waiting.

1. Alabama AA leaders say a black man can't win
Obviously black people inject race negatively as much as white people do. I've got no idea why.

5. What nobody is mentioning is the undeniable slap at Jackson.
"Don't you DARE compare Obama to Jesse," as tho Jesse was another Willie Horton. How ashamed is the Black community of Jesse Jackson?

6. The soft bigotry here is astounding.
Jesse Jackson received a larger percentage of the vote than Ross Perot. Jesse ran very inspiring and substantive campaigns in 1984 and 1988. The only people who would regard a comparrison of Obama's ability to attract new voters to that ability of Jesse Jackson as a slur are the soft bigots who happen to also be Hillary haters.

7. Bill Clinton said something very different than Mayor Brown did...
Brown said that Jackson brought new people to the party just as Barrack has. Clinton said that Jesse won SC just as Barrack had. His point was CLEAR - SC is the "black candidate" state. Clinton did not, for instance, say that Edwards ran a good campaign just four years ago, did he?
