I for one am VERY glad to see Guiliani out of the race.

I never really thought he could win but I've seen stranger things happen. Out of all the Republican candidates I think he scared me the most, not because of his electability or lack thereof, but because of what I think he would do if he did get elected. I think any republican would be a travesty to our country but Guiliani would have been the worst.

So although the situation doesn't look great, let's be thankful we're not going down that road.

1. Amen to that. There was a reason they called him Mussolini....
His sheer contempt for basic freedoms, like speech and artistic expression, should have disqualified him from even getting on a ballot.

2. I don't have access to teevee -- is he out for sure?
Or is it still speculation at this point based on his poor numbers?

And, I agree wholeheartedly with your OP -- he scares me the most, too, although they all do to some degree or another.

6. He is DONE
All the nets are reporting that he will make a joint appearance with McCain at the Reagan "Library" tomorrow, at which he will endorse McCain.

And, to the OP, complete agreement. America has dodged a bullet.

7. CNN is reporting "Guiliani to quit race and endorse McCain."
(CNN) — Rudy Giuliani will endorse John McCain Wednesday in California, two GOP sources familiar with the discussions told CNN Tuesday.

McCain's campaign manager, Rick Davis, had been in "ongoing discussions" with Rudy Giuliani's campaign about the former New York mayor ending his run and actively endorsing McCain's candidacy, according to a GOP official familiar with talks.

9. LOL! Limbaugh's gonna FREAK
I checked in today just to hear what he and Hannity were up to these days, and they were both pissin' and moanin' about McCain -- saying his voting record is like a 'libral' blah, blah, blah. Limbaugh was going on about McCain's 'dirty tricks' in Fla today -- allowing Independents to register to vote at the polls or some shit like that. Limbaugh's got the hots for Romney and Hannity 'hearts' Giuliani.

10. Me, too.
I believe that out of all the candidates they had to choose from, McCain is the best. I also like Cindy, and yes, she is beautiful. I like her hair either short or up though. Knowing how old she is, she's hard to believe. She doesn't look as if she has had work done either. Great looking lady. I have to say the same about McCain's mom. She's unbelievable. I heard from somewhere that she is a twin. Is that so? I would love to see a photo of both of them. Did you notice that she and Cindy walk alike?
