Where I currently stand
I'm sorry to see John Edwards bow out. His populist message taking aim at corporations was most welcome in the debate.

I'm sorry to see Dennis Kucinich bow out. I hope he follows through on impeachment - he's got a record as a Congressional bulldog.

I'm especially sorry to see Bill Richardson bow out. He didn't light many fires at debates, but he had the diplomatic experience that our current Chief Executive sorely lacks, and he would have turned many states from red to blue if given the chance.

I wish Senator Hillary Clinton, Senator Barack Obama, and their respective camapigns and supporters well.

My goal has always been, and always will be, success for Democrats in the House, the Senate, and the Presidency in November.

But if the two front-runners can't pull out of this slapfight, I'm voting for Mike Gravel. He may not be the perfect candidate for President, but I agree with him on far too many issues.
