There is nothing to prevent voters from voting for Edwards in their primary
I am sure there are plenty of Democratic Blogs in each state where you can get others to actively encourage friends, neighbors, co-workers etc to vote for Edwards. I am sure that there are super delegates out there that support Edwards and they should continue to encourage the voters to vote for him.

He probably won't win the nomination but if he receives enough votes to receive delegates then he could still make a difference.

4. In that case, then why not encourage them to
vote for say, Josh Bartlett, aka Martin Sheen.....He played a President on TV! Yes, this is the way to go.

5. Precisely
I've decided to vote for Biden anyhow, despite the fact that he left in January (seems like a lifetime ago) -- he's on my ballot and he's getting my vote.

Edwards supporters should do what their conscience tells them to do.

:hi:

I handed in my absentee ballot for John Edwards just yesterday.
What timing, huh? Good points, btw.

6. he needs to clear a 15% threshold per state and/or congressional district to get any delegates
And that won't happen anywhere, so there will be no more Edwards delegates. It would be a principled vote of conscience with no effect.

7. I won't accept that premise. Too many times people have predicted something
and they were wrong. Better to wait until Tuesday for the results.

If supporters/voters were really serious about Edwards they will still vote for him.

Just ask the 15,372 Floridians who still voted for Joe.
