Do you think Hillary or Obama would choose Edwards as a running mate?
I am sorry to see him drop out of the race.

3. I think they both would
and he makes sense as a choice for either.

The question is --would Edwards accept or decline.

4. He's probably on the short list for both
But we probably won't hear much more about it until the convention or later.

18. Make sure it isn't Bayh from Indiana. He is about as lukewarm as they get.
No offense to women. But think about the stories about a man having sex with his wife and the wife just lays there doing nothing. That to me describes Bayh.

8. Either one of them would be crazy not to.
His politics make him the best way to shore up support with the base, not to mention that he's a very strong campaigner and he stayed out of the line of fire for nearly the entire thing. And judging from the 04 campaign, he's made of teflon.

I don't know if he would or not. I think it is way too early to speculate.

28. Not quite what i meant
I don't know that he will either, I was just trying to imply that if he accepted Kerry as a running mate Clinton or Obama can't me that much of a stretch.

10. Edwards would be good for Clinton, not Obama
Edwards would add a gentler, kinder element (ironically, more feminine) to the Clinton campaign. On the other hand, he would make Obama look softer, which would play into the Republican playbook of, Can he protect us from terrorists?

11. Richardson, more likely
The political calculus of having 2 Senators on the ticket and the fact that Edwards has already run for Vice President make it unlikely either one would pick him.

Webb possibly also.

16. Obama wouldn't pick him..
because Obama is going to have to pick a women. Obama has trash the women vote. The way he has talked down to Hillary and the many dirt looks the man has given her, this kind of stuff doesn't go unnoticed by women. And he has been doing this from the get go.

17. I doubt it.
I'm pretty sure Clinton will tap Wes Clark.

Obama? I have no idea at this point.

I don't think Edwards would want to wage another VP campaign.

Just my opinion at this point.
