Edwards is out?! Did ANYONE see this coming?
Honestly, I have nothing but respect for John and Elizabeth, and I thought they would keep going until Super Tuesday like John always said he would.

A  for all the Edwards people out there. He was always my second choice, and at times a very close second, too...

2. umm... yeah
It was pretty easy to see coming.

My sympathy to Edwards supporters - I've been through this many times in my life. It's hard. But we have two great candidates left, despite what you read here.

3. Nope... that huge ad buy had me fooled. I'm still voting for him in the primary.
One word: delegates.

9. I did. He has to balance how he as fairing in the race with his wife's health and other factors.
I just hope he becomes like Al Gore only around issues of poverty and corporate welfare and doesn't fade into obscurity.

13. I swore he would stay in it for a while longer.
his voice was a valuable one to have in the debates, he helped shape the issues and the discussion in a direction it needed to go.

campaign knew this was coming and THAT worries me...for Elizabeth.:(

18. I've been predicting this since early December '07
Along with Kucinich, Biden, Guiliani, Thompson, and (soon) Ron Paul. I also predict that Huckabee will go down in about 2 weeks.

Not that I don't agree with much of Edwards' platform, but you have to be realistic. Sorry!

I said it before and I'll say it again. Whoever wins the DNC will be President. Nothing the Repugs can do about it. Their strongest candidate can't go up against our weakest.

20. His campaign was just touting the 3-4 million dollars raised this month.
They were saying they were in till the convention. I expected him to leave sometime after BigTues. The timing surprised me.

I wonder if some very serious offers were made for him to leave before BigTues.

I hope all is well.
