Suspended Campaign
I take this as a warning to Obama and Clinton as per their promise to make poverty a priority in their campaign.
If this does not happen, John will be back.
I,m sticking with John
What say you

1. I think you might be right.
He and DK successfully changed the debate.

It looks like both candidate may end up vying for his support.

Peace.

2. I think it means
He can continue to use the money they have and have coming from the feds as match funds to pay his staffers, and that his delegates are still his on the first ballot.

Related to campaign finance, DNC rules and delegate selection. Edwards and Dean both "suspended" in 2004.

6. The media DID pretty well ignore Edwards....no wonder he has to drop out!
Edited on Wed Jan-30-08 02:27 PM by glarius
The media labeled Edwards the pretty boy with the $400 haircut. They made him appear as a hypocrite.....talking about the poor when he was a millionaire himself. The fact that he came from poverty and was a self made millionaire didn't get told. It's really sad. He is the real McCoy! He REALLY DOES CARE ABOUT THE POOR. He reminds me of Jimmy Carter.
As a Canadian, I would be happy with any one of the three....Clinton, Obama or Edwards as president of your country. They are all such a welcome contrast to Bush.
P.S...I heard that most of the $400 was for a tip.
