How, exactly, did Clinton lose seats for other Democrats? By balancing the budget? By being the victim of the worst political smear job of all time? How?

You cannot answer with a single specific, because there are none. Which means you are merely spouting your biased opinions and trying to pass them off as fact. Which is dishonest.

IMHO, the Democrats DID fizzle during the Clinton years, but not because of Bill. It was their own fault, for not standing up to the wingnuts when they went after Clinton, and for stabbing him in the back again and again while they tried to make patty-cake with the flesh-eating ogres of the RNC.

What the Democrats did back then reminds me a lot of what certain ungrateful, naive supporters of a certain lightweight Democratic presidential candidate are doing today.
