Edited on Fri Feb-01-08 12:00 AM by Windy
that made a mistake. At least some of them. They made a by supporting the war that was brought to us based on lies and has cost us 4000 lives and swallowed up our treasury.

Unfortunately, Hillary can't admit her mistake. Something that many many in this country have managed to do. Those the feel terrible for being gung ho for bush's war authorization and have seen the devastation that resulted from the war of choice. She won't admit that her vote was wrong and that she shouldn't have cast it.

If ordinary citizens can admit it, the fact that Hillary can't, and the fact that she was one of the senators who raised their hand and said "yea", thereby being actually responsible for sending our men and women off to die without making bush support his case fully before authorizing the use of military force will be a problem for many voters. It has been from the beginning.

As was pointed out tonight, the title of the measure was:

Joint Resolution to Authorize the Use of United States Armed Forces Against Iraq

2. And OBAMA WASN'T THERE
Is that what's making you all so repetitively nervous? That IWR is ALL you have to hit her with, and the war is fading as an issue because of the economy? So you have to rev it up again?

Hey, you're gonna win Super Tuesday. The polls are dead heats, women and unions and Hispanics are falling into line...the whole country adores your man and needs to touch him.

And yet you still aren't happy. Maybe you never can be.

3. Other senators WERE there and had the good judgment to vote no.
that is important. She is a KNOWN quantity on this point. We know that she made a terrible judgment call that many of her collegues didnt make. It is a fair point on an important issue that needs to be discussed. Its about her judgment.
