11. I can give you a reason why she wouldn't do the Veep
She gains nothing from it.
To be VP is not necessarily a step up for her.

If he wins and she's his Veep then her next shot would be 2016.
By then it's highly unlikely she'd get elected as she would be close tp 70 (I've heard she's 60 now)

Obama gains a little bit more than she does, since he is younger.
But anyone who is her Veep will probably have to deal with being the #3 person.

Hilary, Bill, then the Veep.

I'm not sure Obama would want that.

12. Have you ever thought about this:
If Hillary was prez and Barack was VP, they serve for 8 years. After that 8 years Barack runs for prez with a younger VP, they serve for 8 years, then that young VP runs with another younger VP......the repukes will NEVER rule again.

The ticket will be both of them. It's just a matter of who is at the top. They KNOW if they run together, they would be unbeatable. I think Hillary would take a VP spot. First female VP? I think she'd do it.

17. Vote for any Dem nominated to keep the Supreme Court from outlawing
..Row vs. Wade. Judge Stephens is really old.

A woman, half-African ticket isn't one that is going to draw Republicans votes...a white male who is appealing to centrists is needed to balance the current two contenders.

15. I could see Hillary asking him if she thought it necessary - but not vice versa.
He might turn it down - who knows what would happen.

20. I've been around a long time and long enough never to say....
never. Politics are strange bedfellows.:yoiks:

IMHO whomever gets the nomination will need a VP that can smooth and soothe over ruffled feathers and attract votes. You should be asking who offers the ticket those qualities and you will come to an answer. Remember when Raygun chose Papa Bush.
