LTTE:Brian Burgess, Pelican Rapids, Letter: Our nation needs Ron Paul revolution
I believe the Ron Paul revolution is exactly what our nation needs. With our dollar plunging in value, borrowing from foreign nations, and a foreign policy that is out of control, Paul’s platform will allow America to heal.

The choice is simple, either socialism offered by the Democrats, more of the same war-hungry nation building, deficit-adding, neo-conservative destruction, or freedom and prosperity delivered by the Paul revolution.

:sarcasm:Yep, Brian Burgess sure has his finger on the pulse of the times. The bu$h administration has done such wonderful job, we need to keep on with it. :sarcasm:
How can people be in such denial? I really don't get it.

1. Ron Paul is different from Bush
He is a libertarian tax-hating republican. He thinks that what's going on in Iraq now is criminal and wants us out NOW.

2. On Tuesday nights, the chef at the mental asylum serves fruitcake for
dessert.

No, wait. That's Ron Paul headquarters.

My mistake.

4. If you read the latter part of the letter again
you see the writer doesn't like the Bush policies, either. ("war-hunger nation building deficit-adding neo-conservative destruction") Ron Paul people don't like the Bushies any more than we do. They just view the Dems as "socialists" and won't support us. Actually, I hope Ron Paul picks up a lot of Republican support in the primaries--it will weaken McCain and Romney and make it more likely that the Paul voters will become disaffected with the GOP and vote Libertarian (which is what Ron Paul really is).
