I think I may not be able to vote for Hillary Clinton...
Coulter wants Clinton over McCain

(CNN) — In the latest sign that a conservative backlash is starting to build against John McCain, conservative commentator Ann Coulter said Thursday she is prepared to vote for Hillary Clinton over the Arizona senator in a general election match up.

Speaking on Fox's "Hannity and Colmes," Coulter took aim at the GOP frontrunner, and suggested he was little more than a Republican in name only.

"If you are looking at substance rather than if there is an R or a D after his name, manifestly, if he's our candidate, than Hillary is going to be our girl, because she's more conservative than he is," Coulter said. "I think she would be stronger on the war on terrorism."

Coulter took aim at McCain's positions — particularly his fervent anti-torture stance — and said he and Clinton differ little on the issues. Coulter also said she is prepared to campaign on Clinton's behalf should McCain win the party's nomination.

"John McCain is not only bad for Republicanism, which he definitely is — he is bad for the country," she said.

22. Obama calls for end to 'Star Wars' funding (that was in 2000) McCain wil go balistic on that one..
The national missile defense system's "Star Wars" program is a "boondoggle and unmitigated failure," says Illinois Sen. Barack Obama (D-13th), who challenged his congressional foe, Rep. Bobby L. Rush (D-1st) to help him in ending its funding.

27. The right-wing hates McCain...
I think they would do anything to derail him -- which is why I fear him as the Republican nominee. He would have the best chance of winning independent voters.

I really (really) hope the X-ian nutjobs run an independent candidate.

Lee Mercer (all three) might be too nutty for them. But Alan Keyes must be just nutty enough!

Ann Coulter is just blowing hot air. She despises McCain and couldn't think anything worse to say to rally the conservatives that she'll rather vote for Hillary than for him. We all know that she would prefer to go blind than vote for Hillary!!!!

Crazy conservatives.......

19. Does anyone seriously believe Ann Coulter would vote for Hillary Clinton?
This is pure spin.

The corporate media wants Barack to be the Dem front runner, so that after he's the nominee, they can trash him with negative coverage.

Suddenly the Rezko thing will be HUGE!

If you think for one second that they don't have more dirt on him, you're an idiot. All will come out, and he will be pummeled with negative publicity.

Suddenly, McCain doesn't look so bad...

And everything falls into place, just as planned. :(

This is to rile up the Faux News crowd. McCain is hated by rapid right-wingers as being too liberal.

Incidently, I am an Obama supporter, and voted for him in the California primary, via absentee ballot

However there are REAL differences between the republicans and the Democrats

1. Healthcare
2. Supreme Court
3. Social Security
4. Medicare
5. Civil Rights
6. The Iraq War

28. Let's face it: Whom the candidates are and what they ultimately do may be different things.
And i'll admit, Hillary had impressed me on foreign issues, though I'm still not sure how she really feels on domestic issues. Some of her middle class policies sound great, but then saying everyone should have to buy health "insurance" -- I'd hope the "insurance" gets properly overhauled too.

We need real reforms in this country. Lots of them. We all need to do our part. And they've got to be done for the better.

I'm done crying and I'm going to start hoping.

29. So NOW you are going to take seriously what that scheming rhymes with rich says?!?
How blind must you be not to see this ploy.

Coulter (and Rush also by the way) is just trotting out the biggest nuclear weapon available to lobb at McCain before Super Tuesday: "Even HILLARY is better than McCain"

The Republican establihment hates McCain and they want Romney, but McCain looks on the edge of wrapping up the Republican nomination, so they are pulling out all the stops against him, including the "H" Bomb.

And you are falling for that nonsense? Suddenly you BELIEVE something that Ann Couler says?

Just watch Coulter suddenly find some reason to hate Hillary again and love McCain instead if this ploy to scare conservative voters away from McCain fails and McCain wins the Republican nomination anyway.

37. Gee, with all the attention that remark is getting...
...you'd almost think she has staff to make up things for her to say to get attention. Does she have another book for (bulk) sale, or something?

This one's interesting, though. If you lie for a living, then lie about your lies, then lie about those lies, you have to end up telling the truth every once in a while. Here, Coulter has at least caught onto the fact that Clinton is at the right of the Democratic Party. She's not so very far from the GOP, and one could almost think that McCain's to the left of her. He isn't, but this may be about as close to the truth as Coulter gets.

But what the Klingon says is unimportant, and we do not hear her words.
