What I have seen and now feel is that america runs on emotion not common sense at all .
Here we are TERRORIZED after 9/11 and most of the people wanted to attack Iraq without ever considering what their chances of being attacked by a terrorist was so slim , wait for the lightning bolt .
They sit there and make american idol a rage when it's complete crap , an invented show of who's the winner of absolutely nothing as with all other shows where people are sold a never ending stream of products they never needed but can't live without today . They actually believe some little pill will change their entire life from deep depression to the sunny day and walk away healed forever .
As far as I can tell Oprah came along and launched Obama to new heights in Iowa and let the games begin . Most people asked what they like about Obamas plans don't know , can't answer but yet he is the real deal and that's it .
It's nothing new , it's happened so many times before that is seems that through years of this sort of emotional driving force all common sense and thought process has evaporated , I can give examples like Elvis or the Beatles that display the same emotional high .
You get what you scream for because it sells ,yet when the common sense and truth try to leak out through voices of reason and sanity not caught up in the emotional moment they are crushed into silence . we have been warned of these things by great minds over and over again . We had two candidates that stand as proof who spoke the truth and now are ruled out of the emotional popularity contest .
We are a world of smoke and mirrors and nothing will change because the power structure is still in the driver seat , the oil is still the fueling resource of wars and power , the corporations still own everything including the minds of many and there is no one working from reality who can ever change this . It was allowed to grow to a size so large and powerful that people are nothing other than grains of sand each shaped a bit different but all blend in as the beach shaped by the flow of the emotional tide .
