I just heard the Democratic party is going to pick one of its members to run for President, at some "convention" in Denver. I am outraged! I mean, who do they think they are, ENDORSING a candidate and taking sides? I didn't know I was signing up for an organization that supported one Dem over another. They are supposed to support ALL Democrats. Outrageous!

I see they are allowing their members to vote on the endorsement. Well not even 50% of the members will participate. How is that fair? I'm sick of their e-mails asking me to volunteer and donate money anyway!

Isn't the Democratic Party an anti-GOP party? They should nominate ALL Democrats to be president who want it!

So I'm going to unsubscribe from the Democratic Party and then come back to DU and piss and moan about it like a petulant child!

We have always fought in the primary season. There's the candidate we really, really want, the one we find acceptable, and the one we can't stand. We usually end up trying to stop the one we can't stand by backing the one we didn't have first choice but can stand.

That has happened, oh, I don't know ... every time?!
