How to rig an election

Has anyone read this book? It was written by the guy responsible for jamming the NH phone lines in '02. While he worked for the Repubs, he states clearly that both sides use the techniques he describes.

I bring it up here because he says in the book, toward the end, that one of the techniques he used was to ask party faithful big-time donors to donate to the candidate they believe their candidate could most easily defeat. I thought about the report of huge amounts of donations to Obama last month.

Maybe I need some tin foil, but I can't help but wonder if that's what's going on here. Is there a way to find a list of the donors last month to Obama, then compare them to donations these persons made in the past?

BTW, it's a great book, fun to read. The guy is extremely open and honest, and doesn't try to blame anyone else for his action. He despises GWB, and never made any secret of it - and never worked for his campaigns.

If the fascists don't disenfranchise us one way, they have their secret weapon. And we gotta backtrack, and start with that--and get that fixed NOW, and restore our right to vote and our inherent accompanying right to have our votes counted IN PUBLIC VIEW--because we can't do a goddamned thing about the money corruption or anything else if we can elect real representatives of the people to do it!
