John Kerry at the Obama canvassing kick off rally in SF. I'm pumped!
Senator Kerry spoke this morning in front of a a few hundred Obama supporters in San Francisco. He reminded us all that reading and talking with people on the internet is great. But without going out and working for an election, change is never going to come. The crowd that was warmed up by SF District Attorney, Kamala Harris, was totally juiced and the atmosphere reverberated throughout the neighborhood.

I attended the event with two supporters who were just going to go home after the rally. About 10 minutes into Sen. Kerry's speech they looked at me and told me that they were going to come out. We headed off into the rainy morning to talk to folks and get out the vote for the primary on Tuesday. Overwhelmingly we spoke to folks who were in favor of Obama. Part of our route took us through some lower income areas and we talked to some people living in SRO hotels who were very excited about the change that Barack is going to bring to Washington.

It was a great morning all around and I know that excitement and optimism are running high.

1. We had Virginia Governor Tom Kaine at our rally this morning in Savannah
We then seperated and went canvassing all over the east side of town.

We have got so many things going on from today thru Super Tuesday that I shouldnt be spending time on here....

I gotta go, more logistical stuff to line up.

3. Great to hear.
I love Kerry speeches and rallies. The corpmedia really refuses to show the man as he is.

4. He was funny and engaging
Every time I see him speak it's sad. He could have been a great president but he was shamefully smeared.

10. She would have liked Kerry a lot more had he supported Clinton.
He would have been her best buddy in that case.
