I still cannot believe Obama went negative in his own voice!
http://www.cbsnews.com/blogs/2008/02/01/politics/fromth...

“In terms of electability, I believe that I am attracting new voters and independent voters in a way that Senator Clinton has not been able to do,” Obama said.

“If Senator McCain is the nominee, we can’t start off with the same playing field and expect to win.”

He cited the Nevada caucus as an example of the fact that he can reach a greater variety of voters than Clinton and said that her supporters are more likely to side with him, if he is the nominee.

“I am confident that I will get her votes if I am the nominee, it’s not clear that she would get the votes I got if she were the nominee,” Obama said.

Underlying message to his supporters?

Sounds like Don't vote for her if I lose, I am spiteful and could care less about our party!

Top it off today he "apologizes" for another attack by his campaign! LOL

The guy is going negative? Why is he doing that? He said he had a Positive message for change. He is no different here, in fact he is worse. His positive message is a FRONT FOR DIRTY POLITICS!

1. That flew straight over your head, I guess. He isn't talking about Democrats.
He is talking about Independents and Republican cross-over votes.

10. I can not forgive him or her for that
Then they let the media and all his fanatic followers spread the false disinformation.

Just watch Tuesday night. HRC was unbeatable a month ago. If she doesn't emerge with the nomination sewn up completely by Wednesday a.m., she's in big trouble.

It doesn't take an Einstein to see that many of Obama's supporters never thought to cast a vote until he inspired them.

Hell I've seen polls here on DU that strongly suggest the same thing!

8. Baloney
He's talking about new voters he is bringing in - youth, independents, Reagan Dems, Moderate Republicans. He's specifically talking about rural Nevada in that piece. He is not telling his supporters not to vote for Hillary. He is saying he is not sure she can get those votes that he did get.

The Brody File
I just finished my sit-down interview with Sen. Barack Obama here in Greenville, S.C. We talked about everything from last night's debate, his troubles with Sen. Hillary Clinton and continuing Internet rumors that he's a Muslim.
CBN News Senior National Correspondent

Barack Obama Talks to The Brody File
January 22, 2008

Obama: I think there is no doubt that she has higher negatives than any of the remaining democratic candidates. That's just a fact and there are some who will not vote for her. If you look at the results in Nevada, for example, she eked out the popular vote victory over me, but I ended up winning more delegates because she got almost all of her votes from Clark County, Las Vegas and some of the traditional democratic areas. We got votes there, but we also got votes in northern Nevada and rural conservative regions of the state that traditionally don't vote Democratic, but were excited about my campaign.

I have no doubt that once the nomination contest is over, I will get the people who voted for her. Now the question is can she get the people who voted for me? And I think that describes sort of one of the choices that people have, just a practical choice, as they move forward.
