Maybe a few more Junior Senators should've backed Byrd on IWR?

Hearing a lot of talk in these parts to the effect that a "Junior Senator" was essentially toothless and powerless.

Maybe a few more junior senators should've touched base with http://www.google.com/search?as_q=history+senate+byrd&hl=en&num=10&btnG=Google+Search&as_epq=&as_oq=&as_eq=&lr=&cr=&as_ft=i&as_filetype=&as_qdr=all&as_nlo=&as_nhi=&as_occt=any&as_dt=i&as_sitesearch=amazon.com&as_rights=&safe=off">the guy who literally wrote the history of the Senate, and shown a little respect for his "experience" on how to slow down, stop, or tie up the Senate in knots to prevent an ill-advised war.

1. You know even a first term Senator's vote counts the same as the elders ...

it's too bad for 4,000 odd soldiers. I apologize, they deserve an accurate count it's 3943 (today).

That is 3943 lives extinguished. Families split forever. Each one in that number meant something. But not to Hillary, she needed expedience and a quick spin.

Has she been to the funerals. If so has she been to more funerals than Bush? They died for her, where is the respect.

She has no platform. That's a pile of cadavers beneath her.

2. Yeah, I'd like to have someone show me the Constitional provision...
... or Senate rule that says her votes had training wheels on them.

4. Apparently, it's considered unorthodox...
... to point out how she substituted her naivete for an elder statesman's experience in how to make the Senate work for the minority, prevailing political winds notwithstanding.
