I counted the attacks on Hillary and Obama on the last two pages, results
Edited on Sat Feb-02-08 10:09 PM by Levgreee
Attacks on Hillary - 15

Attacks on Obama - 31 (about 8-10 credit to about 2 posters)

for the sake of accuracy, I did not differentiate between reasonable and unreasonable attacks. It was simple criteria, just any thread that directly criticized the other candidate in the main title or post. I would say it was about 33-33-33 on vicious attacks, somewhat unreasonable attacks, and reasonable attacks, for both candidates.

So the venom towards Obama has been especially high today, and I don't think the Hillary supporters can keep slinging, justifying it by "they are attacking Clinton just as much".

However, the Clinton critics should also turn it down a notch.

So lets all be civil, mmkay

...we should expect the attacks to increase.

Shows their desperation...

14. Nah... he's probably in negotiations to be rehired by Hill and Bill....
...so he doesn't have time to write any more articles.

When the going gets rough for the Clintons, they hire pigs like Dick Morris. This is what they've learned in their "35 years" of experience.

No scruples... hire the guy that can help you "triangulate" your way out of trouble.

Think Bill still has Dick on the old speed dial?

16. Then why so shrill and petty in attacking Obama? You should be positive now...
...Your actions speak very loudly for you.

If you weren't worried about Obama, you wouldn't be posting constantly about him.

2. It's fewer than 10 people doing all fo this shit.
If admins would ban the 10 or 12 who keep on doing it, even after locks, then GDP would be a much nicer place.

As it is, for Edwards undecideds like me, there's nothing to be learned here to help us in making the decision. There's too much oneupmanship and NOISE in here.

12. That's about how I saw it as well.
And if you looked at the content, you would see that most of the Anti-Hillary ones attacked her for her IWR vote.

The anti-Obama ones include charges of cocaine-use, being a cult figure, being a Republican in disguise, etc.

21. Do you think the attacks you counted on Obama
would be fewer if the roughly half dozen of his "supporters" who make this forum practically insufferable wouldn't spam the joint with so fricken many provocative posts?

23. I counted the threads on the greatest page
in response to another threat that complained about too many attacks against Obama. Here are my results:

Anti-Hillary 28
Pro-Hillary 30
Anti-Obama 26
Pro-Obama 82

Probably our results differ because pro-Obama threads get more recommendations. I still don't see an anti-Obama bias. One thing I agree partially with you about - there are far few Hillary supporters than Obama supporters so at least some Hillary posters must be very busy.
