1. I bet you anything
Clinton wanted to watch the super bowl with him so that it could "appear" that Richardson endorsed Hillary. Of course, Richardson knows this. Richardson is trying to remain neutral so he has a chance of getting a cushy position regardless if Hillary or Obama wins.

4. You Nailed It
If Richardson was positive either would win that would be the one he would endorse...

Maybe politicians have a different moral calculus...

10. Richardson's is an interesting case...
The Four Corner states are up for grabs on Tuesday ~ if Richardson's endorsement meant a lot to the people in that area, it could influence the outcome; if it didn't mean much, he'd be less valuable in the general. I think the moral calculus for all these guys (Edwards included) is COVER MY BUTT!

6. I Tend To Agree
It's a dog whistle endorsement...

If he would have endorsed Obama it would have been the unltimate betrayal but if you want a friend in politics "buy a dog"...

7. Maybe Richardson should invite Obama.
Could be fun, imagine the three of them knocking back beers, eating chips and dip. Might take the edge off the campaign.

9. Ah but Bill C. wouldn't inhale--he'd probably scarf up the chips--especially if Hil wasn't around.

15. Barack?
Don't you mean Michelle? 2 spouses of current candidates and a former candidate. After all, approximately 40% of viewers of the Superbowl are females.
