The Idea that Early Voting is Pro-Clinton in CA is a Myth
I'm tired of reading posts (however intellectual they may be) by people saying that the early voting in CA will give Clinton the edge over Obama in the end. People are basing this solely on the Florida results and I don't buy this. You can't compare Florida to California because the former was a closed primary that didn't allow Independents to vote. CA is an open primary, so who's to say all of those early votes even CAME from Democrats? Not to mention the Republican primary in CA is closed, so that may give Indies even MORE incentive to vote on the Dem side. There's no McCain factor that'll split the votes.

1. I think they are basing it on the polls taken when those votes were being cast...

2. Those who voted early cannot be swayed. The key are the undecided votes.
And they don't make up their mind early. They decide on Tuesday, and they'll decide this election.

5. For some, I'm sure. But keep in mind that Hillary revulsion existed before Obama emerged.
The Dems have been getting record turnouts, and California will be no different.

But, we'll see....
