Here's why Hillary supporters want to kill the 'Billary' sobriquet.
http://thecaucus.blogs.nytimes.com/2008/02/03/fewer-want-bill-clinton-back-in-the-white-house/

The negative coverage of Bill Clinton over the past couple of weeks seems to have hurt his standing with the public. A new survey finds that fewer voters these days like the idea of the former president being back in the White House.

The poll found that independent voters have become more uncomfortable with the idea. In October, just 35 percent of independents disliked the idea; now, 45 percent dislike it.

In a general election, however, the prospect of Mr. Clinton back in the White House would be a bigger burden for her to carry. Republicans never liked the idea. In October, 66 percent said they disliked it; now 80 percent dislike it.

Guess you can't blame em much. huh?

8. The both need to put the White House behind them.
Bill was a decent prez, Hillary is a good Senator but would be a lousy president. Time to retire.

20. That's an oldie! Vintage 1994, I think.
There was a time when the Right was pushing the line, and you'll love this, that Hillary was a lesbian who smoked cigars.

This was before Monica Lewinsky's testimony.

They also used to chat about Hillary regularly whipping Chelsea with a belt. The right has been a deeply pathological scene for years; I hope the left does not follow it.

Barchelle would be a more appropriate comparison...Doesn't quite have the same sting does it? But I see that you understand the complication that Billary has.

31. Why would Barack Hussein Obama have any "sting" to it...Obama should embrace his name...
Hussein is a proud and noble Arab name as is Barack. The fact that Saddam and he share a name is actually good fortune as well...makes it easier for people to remember...the same with his last name rhyming with the first name of another renowned Islamic man...all those things help in remembering Barack Hussein Obama's name.

33. Why should the name "Hussein" "scare stupid people"?
It is a beautiful Arab name that means "the young handsome one". Why not embrace the name his parents gave him? I can't imagine that he would be ashamed of his name.

let's make sure that everyone knows about Barack Hussein Obama's proud Arabic names. Americans love all things Arabic. Arabic numerals have been a huge hit! Arabic names will not be far behind.

15. Why did you omit this part?

"Democrats seem to be generally comfortable with bringing Mr. Clinton back. In October, only 10 percent disliked the idea of him back in the White House, and even after his bad week only 12 percent object now. In October 68 percent of Democrats said they actually liked the idea and that number has not changed. So he may still be an asset to his wife, at least in the upcoming Democratic primaries."

Little bit of dishonest editing there, Zueda?
