If someone is pathetic enough to need a daytime talk show host to tell them who to vote for, should that person really be voting?

I prefer endorsements that actually mean something; endorsements that actually have some substance to them, when the endorser actually tells you WHY they are endorsing the candidate. Who sounds like they have more grasp of the issues at stake in this election: Oprah Winfrey, or Maxine Waters, Chair of the Out of Iraq Now Caucus?

He mentions his proposals in his campaign speeches. You can be lazy and listen to what other people say about them or you can listen for yourself. His site also has all his postions and proposals.

go all the way to Africa to build a school, when we need them right here in our own backyard. And as an African-American, I was disappointed with her explanation. She actually said that kids here are more interested in iPods, than learning.

Tribe is probably the most respected Constitutional scholar in the country, and he endorsed Obama. C'mon, get real. Tribe is huge in political and academic circles; but Oprah, in an entirely different way, is nothing to sneer at.
