Please Be serious.

I like that he was a community activist for the poor and the disenfranchised, this is so important.

1. Check my journal
Lots of nice things about Barack Obama.

It's his supporters I occasionally take issue with.

16. You're fine by me!
There are a lot of Obama supporters who are hyperaggressive and cultish. You get that with any political group, but it is very prominent among Obama supporters here.

And it scares me.

Like you with Hillary, I am a fan of Obama, and have been for several years. This new development is quite unpleasant for me. The consolation is that if Obama wins the nomination, we practical-minded folk will balance out the zealots.

And, yep ... I'm behind the nominee.

Either there are no Hillary supporters on or they can not be civil enough to compliment an opponent.

I'd say we Hillary supporters are being good sports and the crickets are actually located in the thread linked above.

6. Obama has a great record for passing many laws that really meant
something to the sick & elderly, having to do with nursing home regulations and so on. This was thankless & forgotten legislation that I admire him for.

should also give Hillary a nice compliment.

We're all going to eventually end up in the same democratic camp. It's time to start mending fences now.

I'll start.

I especially appreciate Hillary's outspoken and longstanding dedication to ensuring reproductive rights for women of all income levels.

17. That's a very nice thought and idea. I like this thread but a thread for Obama supporters
complimenting Hillary should have it's own thread, just like this one.

We all need to try to do what we can to improve the tone on the board. They're both great candidates and one of them will be our next President.

9. I admire his charisma and speaking skills
He is a great communicator, and that can come in handy when speaking to other nations and mending the wounds Bush has left us with. I believe that if he is elected he will do a GREAT job mending fences with other countries around the world. Unlike a lot of Hillary supporters I do not dislike Obama. I just have another candidate I like better, but think that Obama is a fantastic man and will make a great president if elected.

He's a handsome man with a beautiful family.
He's a master at speaking to the heart, and that's important.
I would really like him to be our Vice President, and then our President.

And I like his plan to create a Green Jobs Corps. This is the kind of thinking we need to get the country back on it's feet in the next generation.
