Feminist backlash could await if Obama surrogates even MENTION Hillary's new crying moment
Edited on Mon Feb-04-08 11:33 AM by synesthesia
If everyone starts to pile on about how Hillary's new crying incident was staged, a lot of self righteous 65 year old women will 'relate' to being 'picked on'.

Best to avoid this all together. It's bullshit, but there's a lot of very old women who are bitter.

Watch out. If Tweety and co. go wild with how Hillary always pulls these timed incidents, the mobs of grey haired ladies may flood the voting booths.

This is dangerous. It might even be a consideration for Obama himself to denounce anyone who picks on Hillary, but I think that would be going a little too far and could backfire.

14. I doubt real feminists would defend a woman crying...
twice now...the day before the election when the polls are down.

In fact while I am posting. I really think Hillary is hurting the womens' rights movement. Running on her husband's record in the white house. Becoming emotional for sympathy.(sympathy not for the tears but against the criticism by the media that notes the convent timing of the tears)

She should stop talking about what her husband accomplished as though it's her own record. And she should stop the playing up of the alleged "snub." Enough with the victim card. Enough of the NY chapter of NOW making statements about Obama and Edwards "gang-banging (their words)" Hillary in the debates. Enough of the "all boys club of presidential politics" BS.

She needs to run on her own merits and not as a woman, but as a candidate.
