Honest question: Will tomorrow's NY parade for the Giants hurt voter turnout?
I'm serious here. There is a big parade planned for the team tomorrow, could that impact turnout and hurt either candidate?

1. Doubtful.
Most people in the city don't need to drive to get to the poling place.

2. Most of us NY'ers are capable of voting and celebrating

in the same 24 hr. period.

Not to worry.

5. Most NYers can do both at the same time.
We are special. :D

3. No.
The parade starts at 11am and will be over in a few hours.

4. Not at all.
I live in NY and work in NYC. The parade will have no affect except to make a few voters drunk.

7. No problem here. Although I can't come down to the city. . .

I will tape the parade on my VCR (yes, I still have one of those!), and I will go to the polls after work.

Voting in NY state starts at 6 am and ends at 9 pm, so, believe me, people will find a way to come to the polls.

Today, I celebrate. Tomorrow, we, the voters, will play our own Super Tuesday Bowl.

And hey, tomorrow it's also Mardi Gras!!

Let the good times roll!
