Edited on Mon Feb-04-08 12:45 PM by David Zephyr
Should Barack Obama pick Hillary to campaign with him on his ticket with her the VP candidate?

I believe Barack should pick Hillary. And I feel strongly about this.

16. Richardson or Gore
Barack could get more states in the southwest with Bill Richardson and make a peace offering to the Clintons at the same time.

2. No Clintons on the ticket in any capacity.
We can only begin healing this party and this country with the BushClintonDLC beast defeated.

8. This is all academic
She wouldn't accept the offer, no way. On the other hand, he could offer it as a nice gesture to promote healing within the party.

10. Of course he should... and she should return the favor if she wins
it's the best possible ticket either way. People should stop being so divisive (unless it's to ridicule those fools are who still planning to vote for Edwards).

11. No, she's not what he needs
National security weight and diplomatic experience, probably military service - Clark or somebody else, but one who can see deep into the Pentagon and has knowledge of the forces. The first thing on the table is getting the troops out. Barack needs a working partner in doing that, not another legislator.

21. Clark, Biden or Webb
Although I'm not sure if Biden would give up chairman of the SFRC.

No way will he choose Hillary, and no way would she accept.

13. I would actually like Edwards
Odd as that sounds to me now. My main beef with edwards all along has been that I dont really trust what he says. As VP he could prove me wrong. If he is for real then he deserves to be there.

14. No, and I don't she'd accept it if it was offered
She'd settle for nothing less than the throne. And he doesn't need the Clinton baggage she'd bring with her.

to bring the youth and minority vote that will fell disenfranchised if he doesn't become the nominee
but he does not need her - she doesn't bring anything accept past baggage - I vote for turning the page completely

20. If he does select her,
he might as well hang a 100 pound albatross around his neck.

He can do so much better than picking her as a running mate. Plus remember 2 for 1. He wouldn't only be getting Hillary but BillyBob as well.
