means be prepared, be ready. It usually refers to a term used in the military or hunting. I was simply heartbroken when John decided to leave the race. I am a Democrat through and through, I love our country and I care about people, especially those who may be in need. Up until 8 years ago, I had faith in our system, now so much has been uncovered and I chose not to be willfully ignorant. I know the M$M has chosen our candidates who remain in the running which makes voting a difficult decision for me tomorrow. I thought I would make a statement by voting for John Edwards tommorrow....vote my conscience, stand for what I believe in, but again, I cannot be willfully ignorant, I have to vote for a candidate who is actually in the race, though I remain more than a little less enthusiastic about doing do.

Edwards represented a true blue Democrat and one thing for sure, he shaped the Democratic platform as he highlighted and brought forth issues that would have been forgotten. He forced the others to come up with a healthcare plan in writing, as he was the first to have his. He forced the others to acknowledge the broken middle class and the poor. JRE will always hold a special place in my heart for doing this. For that we can all be grateful. ~ God Bless

than go ahead and vote for her/him. For those of us who don't, however, it makes little sense to just choose one with a coin toss for the sake of it.

That's why I'm voting for Edwards. I am neither for nor against either of the two running.
