"Food for Thought" for the Clinton Supporters on DU . . .
Man, do you folks need to KNOCK IT OFF!

There is a lot of angry, name-calling, and mudslinging coming from your camp, these days . . . and let me tell you, from the prespective of a caucus-goer who could have supported either Clinton or Obama, you folks are HURTING Hillary Clinton a lot more than you are helping her!

All this talk about "brain-washed Obama cultists", and Obama supporters being "like teenaged girls in full swoon" is ugly and divisive, and sadly, all too common among you HRC's supporters.

It didn't work for me when Bill "the Big Attack Dog" Clinton went after Obama in S. Carolina (. . . the more Bill spoke, the less I liked Hillary . . .) and it certainly isn't "winning me over" to see HRC supporters on DU make such angry, Republican-like, asses out of themselves.

Here is something to consider . . . if the Clintons divide the Democratic party this badly, just imagine how much they will polarize America during the General Election! To me that is a very scary thought!

I was an Edwards supporter (and still might be if he has close to 15% support in my precinct) but, the nastiness of you HRC supporters is making me feel very comfortable with my decision to caucus for Obama tomorrow night.

1. One could make the EXACT SAME POST for Obama supportors
Obama supporters have been FAR, FAR nastier to those of us that believe in equality for all Americans.

2. Wrong, Obama-bashing threads outnumber Hillary-bashing threads.
Unless you like to play fast and loose with the Ignore button.

The Obama supporters spammed the boards all day yesterday with Clinton's Healthcare plan.

5. To be fair, BOTH of their health care plans leave a lot to be desired
But Nixon would have loved them.

15. Hillary's plan sounds nice. Problem is, as offshoring continues, few will qualify to get it!
What happens to them?

6. I have to respectfully disagree.
There is nastiness on both sides, IMO, but what I see from the Clinton supporters is far worse than from the Obama supporters. I have noticed this for some time now ~~ I support JRE and so I really had no dog in the Clinton-Obama war of words that was going on in here. While most of us DUers can and do discuss, there are some who simply cannot and it appears that there are more of these on the Clinton side than on the Obama side.

JMHO

4. I believe they call it "self-defense"
The vitriol on these boards is overwhelmingly originating from the Obama camp. When attacked, we fight back. We do not emulate the Pelosi/Reid Doctrine of Appeasement as Obama does.

19. Nice, and honest, and well-intended try, Krash.
But, sadly, I have a feeling this is about to turn into a "Nuh-UH!!" "Well, yuh HUH" and "No, you di-int!" thread.

:-( :-(

If one more Clinton supporter calls me a "cultist" though, I really am gonna have to dig deep to refrain from hurling some poop right back at 'em.

sticks at least one barb into the Republicans in their post, just to make themselves look authentic. Get lost
