Two years ago, Mr. Murdoch, the head of the News Corporation — which owns The New York Post — was in the midst of a rapprochement with Senator Clinton. He put aside the antagonism that had defined their relationship, even holding a fund-raiser for her Senate campaign before the paper went on, improbably, to endorse her re-election effort.

Their newfound friendship seemingly came to a crashing end last Thursday. There was the headline on the front page of The Post, right next to “Cop Sex Ring,” for all to see: “Post Endorses Obama.” Not only an endorsement, but they gave it the wood — industry jargon for the huge type on the front page — for crying out loud. Not even John McCain, a longtime favorite of both The Post and Mr. Murdoch, got the wood for his endorsement the next day.

2. Murdock is whats known as a "fair weather friend"
He probably no longer sees Hillary as inevitable, so he has no use for her.

5. The "Powers that Be" want McCain to win. They perceive Obama as the weakest competition, polls be
damned.

What people SAY to a pollster, and what they do in a voting booth, are often two different things.

7. Nope...think he is
A Romney guy....but who knows! He is flaky and goes where the wind blows I guess. He thinks by endorsing Obama, it will help the Republicans. He is one through and through...just playing the game. He NEVER really supported Hillary, and now playing his odds..Fair wheather friend indeed!! HE IS A BIG CROOK, thats a fact. Personally I am happy he is supporting Obama..as Hillary is my girl and as a women, would like to see her win, and get this country back on track.

8. Romney is toast. Romney is a flipflopping idiot who has squandered a lot of money on a fool's
errand.

Of course Murdoch never ardently supported Clinton--that breakfast fund-raiser is something he does for any and every 'likely to win' or 'incumbent and likely to stay that way' NY politician. After all, that's where his empire is HQ'd--NY. All politics IS local.

I think the Corporatists who profit from war want to see McCain v. Obama, because they believe that Obama will be routed and McCain will keep us in Iraq for a decade or more.

This is Murdoch's paper, and this is what it said:

Frankly, it's one of those 'two-edged swords' .... that endorsement! Clinton is lucky the bastard didn't go with her!
