It's silly I guess but I thought that Obama quit smoking last Feb

When there's no real "dirt" on a candidate, detractors will embellish minor flaws, distort facts, spin new tales, and flat-out lie. Nothing new at all.

"Cause I certainly provided a link that he quit early last year.

Somebody referred to a media matters link from earlier than that, January 2007.
And then used the present tense "smokes"
