Clue, Joe and Valerie Plame Wilson work for the CIA.
Ya know, the covert action, blow up buildings and blame it on terrists, rig elections and topple democracy guys? The drug-running crack selling Iran-Contra guys?

The fact that they're good buddies with the Clintons should give you a clue.

Joe Wilson and Valerie Plame risked careers and in the latter's case, life and limb, to expose the Bush regime of deception and deceit regarding the pre-war Iraq intel. And some pissant keyboard warrior member of Team Obama has the gall to sit here and condemn them for their choice of political candidate by comparing them to the innuendo of past CIA misdeeds?

Personally I don't talk much about the CIA here because they've done such a good job of inoculating themselves against criticism, but they ARE the problem, and the Clintons are part of it.

As for Obama, well if Teddy is backing him, then I suspect he's of the JFK persuasion that the CIA needs to be shattered into a thousand pieces, which is 100% right on.

51. I was less than a mile away from "OKC 95", and almost got my face
mangled by some flying glass in a walkway I had just been thru. I don't take very kindly to rightwing bigoted a-holes who like to blow up little kids and innocent men and women, and I don't take very kindly to smart-alek know-it-all conspiracy theorists assessing blame onto whomever they dislike no matter what little evidence they may have (and what little probably came from "reputable" internet sites, no doubt).

Before you throw around implications and innuendos of a President Clinton or a Joe Wilson having something to do with OKC 95, check the clock, its time to take your thorazine.

it is a wonder you can still breathe. This jackass logic of "Wilson and Plame work for the CIA, the CIA is corrupt, thereforore Wilson and Plame are corrupt" is intellectual dishonesty at its worst.

They risked much to do what they did at a time when few were speaking out. They didn't have the pleasure of being a everyday common poser who gets to sit behind a screen and blather away endlessly with impunity.

45. But Teddy luvs Clinton, too, it seems....

Then Teddy better tell this guy Edward to stop his lovefest over these warmongering spy-lovin Clintons:

AP Tue Jan 29, 9:02 AM ET
WASHINGTON - Sen. Edward Kennedy says his endorsement of Barack Obama for president wasn't intended as a repudiation of Hillary Rodham Clinton's campaign or of her husband, the former president.

"I have great respect for President Clinton and respect for Senator Clinton," the Massachusetts Democrat said Tuesday on NBC's "Today" show as he made a round of appearances on morning network news programs.

Kennedy said he'll support the New York senator if she is the eventual Democratic presidential nominee. "It's enormously important that we elect a Democrat and change the direction of the nation. Should Barack Obama not get the nomination, I'll support her," or John Edwards or whoever wins the nomination, Kennedy said on CBS' "The Early Show."

He described the Clintons as friends. "I've known them a long time. I've worked very closely with the Clintons." But, he added, "We need new energy. We need someone who can bring people together. People are basically saying that they want to new day and a new generation."

Maybe Teddy is trying some CIA psy-op mind games on us!

58. I understand where you're coming from, but...
I would not assume someone is bad just because they are with the CIA. Keep in mind that not too long ago there was practically a civil war within the intelligence agencies regarding the handling of intelligence leading up to the Iraq War. Everything Plame and Wilson seem to have done would indicate that they are among the good guys, although there could easily be much more to this story that most people are not aware of.

Hillary, on the other hand, does seem to have her hands dirty with respect to past affiliations with people, entities, and agencies (specifically the NSA) involved with the laundering of drug and arms money in Iran/Contra. Not only that, but the specific software in question has also been utilized in other criminal activities and variations of it have been implicated in no less than 9-11. If Hillary was instrumental in bringing this evil geenie out of the bottle, then maybe it will be up to her and her experience to put it away once and for all. I'm not holding my breath, but if she wins the nomination it may up to people like us to serve as a constant reminder that 'the truth is out there' waiting to be discovered by the mass media.

...I was like the only person I knew who had to leave work to attend the event. How do I know? The retireds would ask me. Oh, do you work? Did you have to leave work to attend this? There was me. Middle aged. The rich old people, some were like rich old hippies. And really young people working for the Hillary campaign. I was like an oddity there at the event.

Back to Joe Wilson. I enjoyed hearing him talk about the lying sacks of crap in the White House and what happened to Valerie and him.

But when he started yammering on about his friend, Hillary ...and I looked around the room ...I got out of there as fast I could.

61. Wilson trusts Hilly to be " consistent with our national security interests":
And we have trust in her to end the war in Iraq in the most responsible way, consistent with our national security interests.

Translation: we can always count on a Clinton to cover for CIA crimes, whatever we happen to want to do.

And that's one of his few factually correct statements.
