4. Why?
Shocking, an Obama supporter wants OBAMA to win the nomination.

Less shocking, an Obama supporter actually likes Hillary and would love to see her as Senate Majority Leader.

5. It's patronizing and arrogant.
No one has won anything yet and he's handing out consolation prizes.

You might need that "limb" yourself.

But yes, it's a nice thought. Cheney can serve his stretch in the prison infirmary.

14. I say no to Hillary. How bout Junior Senator from NY?
I like your choices, though I still say Richardson for VP. Leave Kaine there to get into the senate, and Chris Dodd should be Majority Leader

20. Actually, that is the more likely option
The Senate is fairly strict on seniority crap and all.

It's silly to think that either Clinton or Obama, if they should not be elected President, would be offered any kind of plum job in the Senate. I don't believe that Senator Kerry was offered a bigger Senate role because of his failed Presidential campaign. I don't see why it would happen for either of Clinton or Obama.

15. I like the AG and SecState picks
But I think Chris Dodd has earned his shot at the Senate Majority leader position, by showing more backbone in one recent action than Harry Reid did in an entire year.

As for VP..... a governor is a solid choice but I'm not sure Kaine is the one. Not very well known outside of VA.

Richardson for VP and Biden as Secretary of State might make a better team.

Feingold, Biden or Dodd would be much better choices.

26. No way
There are too many stories like this:
http://www.nytimes.com/2008/02/05/opinion/05brooks.html?_r=1&hp&oref=slogin

This is the dsysfunctional style we need to get away from. If the new President wants to influence the choice of leader, Obama likely has a much better choice in his first supporter, Senator Durbin. Durbin is the whip now so putting him in respects the Senate's own choices. By all accounts, he is a great guy and very intelligent.

I think VP Warner would be better than Kaine, but it might be tough to get the Senate seat with that. I would prefer Hart or Kerry for secretary of state as they have both spoken as Obama has for a transformational shift in foreign policy that is not so US centric. Kerry might not be possible because MA will (presumably) have just re-elected him.

27. not gonna Happen under president obama
and not bcause she wouldn't be good, she'd be very good at that job, probably better suited for it than the white house, honestly. But there is no way Obama would put his chief rival in such a high profile position. I could see it if Obama wins the nomination, but not the presidency, however.

28. Barack Obama for head speechwriter consultant! Who's with me?
See how that works? I can easily be a condescending ass-hat if I want to as well, but I generally avoid it because I actually like Obama very much.

Does fuck you count as with you?
