Temper, temper, John McCain!
Good. The more stories making it out there about McCain's hair-trigger temper the better.

McCain, Romney argue as voters choose

...An enormous cache of delegates was at stake Super Tuesday — not enough to clinch a nomination but plenty to mint a runaway favorite, or even two. That seemed more likely on the Republican side, where McCain hoped to bury his chief opponent's presidential aspirations.

Tempers heated up between them, with McCain attacking his opponent for having a "terrible record as governor" and Romney retorting that he must be in strong contention if he's so able to get under the Arizona senator's skin.

The two then clashed from afar over a letter that Bob Dole — the former senator and World War II veteran — wrote in support of McCain. "Well, it's probably the last person I would have wanted to have write a letter for me," Romney said on Fox News, likening McCain's candidacy to Dole's losing 1996 presidential bid. McCain called on his rival to apologize. "This is no way to end up this campaign," McCain said, "by attacking a genuine American war hero."...

1. "by attacking a genuine American war hero."...
Where were those comments in 2004 when JK was getting swift boated left and right?

7. To be fair, McCain did stand up for JK against the swiftboat attacks.
He's still a knob, but he did do that. It's jut one more reason why they hate him so bad in Limbaugh land and Freakerville.

8. Well McCain Did Defend Kerry in 2004 Elections
At the same time, McCain defended Kerry by labeling the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth campaign against Kerry's Vietnam war record as "dishonest and dishonorable" and urging the Bush campaign to condemn it.

As far as Bob Dole being "a genuine American war hero", it's true:

Dole was twice decorated for heroism, receiving two Purple Hearts for his injuries, and the Bronze Star Medal with combat "V" for valor for his attempt to assist a downed radio man.

But in all fairness to Romney, Dole did lose at two attempts to become the nominee of the Republican party, and when he did finally win the nomination he was beaten by Bill Clinton, so he's a three time loser!

9. But even Dole ridiculed Kerry's Purple Hearts
Having two Purple Hearts himself didn't stop Bob Dole from being just one more in a long line of Republicans who swiftboated Kerry.

4. the press doesn't concentrate on it but their campaign has been nastier than the Dems.
McCain and Huck both hate Mitt's guts and I think it's mutual.
