Desperate Team Hillary Calls for Fox News Debate

Desperate Team Hillary Calls for Fox News Debate

When a candidate calls for additional debates, it's usually the tactic of someone running from a down position, someone feeling that they're losing in certain ways, someone interested in mixing it up in the Free Media that a Debate Provides. Debates are good, but too many debates are a bad thing. We've had 18, do we really need 5 more? If it were up to Hillary, we'd have one every week... and on Fox News to boot.

Proof Team Hillary is very worried.

In a conference call with reporters, Clinton strategist Mark Penn announced that Clinton would like to face off against Obama in one debate every week between now and March 4.

The Landscape ahead is certainly less friendly for Hillary. She has inherent disadvantages in Money, Message and Momentum and an Obama Tie tonight, which all polls indicate, is a Massive Massive Victory based on what's coming later down the road.

Guess Hillary wants to make more confusing statements more often on Iraq!

The Big Bad Fox people too much for him? Fox viewers don't deserve to hear the Dem side of the issues (or rhetoric, if that's all you got)?

Wouldn't that give Obama access to those vaunted Republicans he's supposed to draw?

11. He Has Boycotted Faux Since the Madrassa Smear.
Just because Hillary wants to go on, doesn't mean he should compromise his stance.

6. Desperate, and this is a stupid idea
The voters are already near debate fatigue.

Theres been many times over the number of debates we normally see in a typical Presidential campaign (and its still early), and adding many more will see a significant drop off of voter interest.

That wouldnt be good for either candidate.

9. Anything that drops voter interest helps Hillary's machine....
....she has to get the young and idealistic to stay home to have a chance.

8. I would like all our people to stay off Fox.
But I think the more debates the better.

Surely we could have a debate a week without having to rely on Fox.
