9. But what about the rural vote?
Will it reflect the feeling that rural voters don't live in urban areas?

10. Thank you Perry .... we appreciate your insight.
And now to our California desk where recent trends show that getting the most
votes helps in an election.

11. A little humor never hurts...
I figured that this thread would be one of two or three offerings...and sure enough, you chose one.

We need this as a partial return to sanity.

15. Past results also show that the vast majority of the time,
the candidate who wins is the one who voters voted for the most in the voting booth.

18. So does this mean the one w/ the most votes wins?
Thank you for your insight. I wonder if this why people ask you for your
vote? I wonder what Tim Russert would say?

19. Why, yes, Bot, that's usually the case
Except for 2000, but that's okay, we in the media wanted Bush to win anyway.

Whoops, did I say that out loud?

20. Well how about Ohio 2004?
more dems than repugs (registered)
new voters 10 to 1 for dems
Ohio lost more jobs from 2000 - 2004 than any other state
exit polls @ 1:07 had female voters 52 to 48 for Kerry male voters 49 to 47 for Kerry

Seems to me that an honest media could figure it out.
