I'm watching election returns with my 13 year old daughter tonight.

and she knows who all the candidates are and she's interested, when i was a kid i never did this with my parents and quite frankly i didn't know who any of the politicians were anyhow so this is pretty sweet for me, sharing this with my kid. I hope she remembers it when she's my age.

He's going to be old enough to vote in 2012. This is his last election to have to watch.

Our kids have known no other administration but this one. Whichever Democrat wins the nomination, it's a bright day for them.

6. I'm watching with my 11 1/2 yr old.....

I took her too all the Obama rallies with me. She also joined me at the King day at the dome rally to see Obama, Edwards and Hillary. We even stood on stage behind John Edwards at one of his rallies. She is totally fired up about the campaign. I didn't get into politics until high school, during Poppy Bush's white house.

My first memory of politics is the night Reagan was re-elected. I have been interested ever since.
