WHY is CNN taking SO LONG to call some of these states when other news sites have already called it?
Well, the question is pretty much in the title... so???? What gives?

5. hmm. I like the cnn format better though
I love the LCD screens and how all the anchors are standing and walking around as they talk. I feel like I'm in a futuristic, political spaceship war room. It's awesome!


Just sad they take so long to call ...

4. The way John King explained it....
CNN, unlike other news networks, keeps their "decision team" isolated so the won't simply follow suit. Also they call based on more particular data, down to precincts sometimes. It just sounds more complicated and actually sounds better, but I'm still not sure there's much difference between the eventual "calls."
