Keith O's "soft bigotry of low expectations" on display on MSNBC. Calling Obama losses as wins
"Can't you sort of say that's a win for Obama?"

1. I used to think highly of KO until these primaries and his blatant
Hillary hate. He and Rachel lose all objectivity when it comes to Hillary. I don't even mind that they support Obama but the stuff they spew just turned me.

3. EXACTLY! If they want to support Obama, FINE! But this rampant Hillary hatred
is really overboard and borders on insanity. Why I turned MSNBC OFF. I miss Keith and what I *thought* was his sanity. The whole MSNBC mindset is beyond the pale. Off they went, never to return.

in order to accodate his little follwing of Daily Kurse bloggers.

He and Matthews are 2 pees in a pod.

I have never seen such blatant outright spinning of all issues. It's so obvious, you would have to be blind, deaf and dumb to not see it.

They have an anti-Hillary, anti-McCain spin on everything.

WHY?

The DLC's best states are places like Utah, Kansas, Idaho, and North Dakota. You cite NH. Even there Obama lost by only 2.

Obama did well among all demographics in NH. What does age have to do with being DLC? There are conservative Democrats of all stripes. It seems they prefer Obama over Hillary.

Kerry didn't win any Republican state. He lost many of the swing states. How can you call NH a rethug state when Gore almost won it and Kerry did?

23. What slime
It could be because he actually campaigned in some of those places. Just because those are red states doesn't mean the Democrats there deserve to be ignored. Also voters in those states probably realize he will have a much more positive affect on down-ticket races than Clinton would.

15. When someone is up by 40% not too long ago and the other closes in the final weeks
the way Obama is, it shows WEAKENING of the TeamClinton campaign and the AMAZING SURGE and STRENGTHENING of Obama's.

What part of that is escaping your ken?

It means Dems stand the chance of going into the election with a campaign team that is showing all the signs of weakening as a force.

34. Or what about "McCain only wins Blue states", but no one mentions Obama wins Red states only.
Edited on Tue Feb-05-08 09:52 PM by McCamy Taylor
Iowa, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama--when was the last time these states broke for the Democratic presidential candidate in the general election?

Everything their "pundits" are saying about McCain--he may not be able to energize the base in the general election, he is perceived of as too middle of the road for the Party faithful---these apply to Obama, too.

When they say it about McCain but not about Obama it means either

1. They do not respect the Democratic Party base and believe that any candidate who energizes that base must be bad

or. 2. They are biased in favor of Obama.

40. I guess KO is now an equal-opportunity hate object.
The Obama supporters are convinced he's a Hill Shill, and have turned him off in disgust, never to watch him again.

The Hillary supporters are equally disgusted with his blatant shilling for Obama, and have also turned him off in disgust, never to watch him again.

Both groups are going on and on about how they USED to love him, but since they found out how badly biased he is in favor of the "other" candidate, it's all over.

Funny how that works.
