Obama is showing real power
Minnesota, North Dakota, Kansas, Georgia, Alabama, Connecticut, Illinois,
Delaware ... different states with different make-ups ... (please oh please
let him take California)

and in many states that Clinton won he was running far closer to her than polls
showed just a few weeks ago.

2. Obama is showing a GROWING power and add that to the money advantage
he has now and over the next month against a visibly stressed and weakening opponent, the future looks bright.

5. His future looks better but Clinton will be tough to stop
At least the "done deal aspect" of Hillary Clinton's run is over.

12. We'll see. I see a mistake prone campaign suffering from the stress. They did NOT
want to be here at this point and certainly didn't expect it.

11. How did Bush2 get in there? Bill Clinton's deep-sixing of all the outstanding matters
in IranContra, Iraqgate, BCCI and CIA drugrunning that were ongoing when he took office and then disappeared soon after.

BushInc should've been in jail by the end of 1994 and instead Dems were tuyrning over the keys to Congress and Bushies were planning their 2000 return to WH.

Or have you forgotten how Bill sided with protecting Poppy Bush and his cronies while putting this nation in danger by keeping it from dealing with the truth about those many illegal operations?

Don't you GET how dangerous the consequences are when BushInc is protected? Clintons protect the Bushes. They always have and always will.

9. Well than don't open a thread called "Obama is showing real power."
If you don't want to hear about Obama.

BTW

Obama's background gives him a great resume to be President.
Columbia University undergrad (honors)
Harvard Law School grad (honors)
Editor Harvard Law Review
Lived abroad as a child 6-10 in Indonesia*
Community Work in Chicago
University Instructor in Constitutional Law
He has written two bestselling books
Illinois State Senate 1996 - 2004
U.S. Senate 2004 -
Civil Rights Lawyer
Early opponent of the Iraq War**

* Living abroad gives Barack something very important and that is an international perspective.
Which is a very nice tool for any President to have especially in dealing with a complex world.

** <On March 17, 2003, the day Bush issued his 48-hour ultimatum to Saddam Hussein to leave Iraq before the U.S. invasion of Iraq, Obama addressed the largest Chicago anti-Iraq War rally to date in Daley Plaza and told the crowd "It's not too late" to stop the war, though many demonstrators conceded that war appeared inevitable.>

13. What do you have against open government Democrats?
Edited on Tue Feb-05-08 11:10 PM by blm
You would think you'd be sick of the damage done by the closed government Democrats who screwed our party and this country over for years.

4. Obama had lots of momentum going into the voting today
I expected him to win his home state big time. I also expected him to win Georgia, Alabama, Kansas, and North Dakota. I wasn't sure about Connecticut and Delaware.

When I passed my polling place in CA at 7, there were lots of cars. When I turned in my ballot earlier today, the poll workers said that turnout had been fairly heavy.

I don't know who will win CA, but I think Obama has a very good chance of carrying the state.

16. It'll be interesting to review the results ...
Edited on Wed Feb-06-08 12:21 AM by krkaufman
... and see where the wins were in red vs blue states, and where the wins were in open vs closed primaries.

edit: ... and then randomly speculate on the meaning of it all.
