I really loved Olbermann until this primary season.
His bias against Hillary is really grating. Does it bother anyone else? He sneers every time he talks about her.

2. I guess it's a preview of what we'll get if she becomes prez.
Didn't he host a show in the 90's pretty much dedicated to the Lewinsky scandel? I didn't watch him then. Glad I didn't.

11. Wasn't he an ESPN commentator in the 90s?
I'll have to look that up.

I just find it disappointing. He was such a breath of fresh air for the cable news shows. I loved the guy. I don't expect or want him to show a preference for HRC. That would piss me off too. But this disdain he's showing is just crappy.

30. He was on ESPN 1992-97
then moved to MSNBC in '97. Lasted almost to the end of '98 but got sick of doing All Monica All the Time. Quit and went to Fox Sports for a while, then got dumped by them and kicked around for a few years at various assignments before ending up back at MSNBC in 2003.

As for the "disdain," it's in your head. Both Hillary supporters and Obama supporters seem equally convinced that he hates their candidate and adores the other.

29. you've got it exactly backwards
he used to rant about the absurdity of the attention devoted to the Lewinsky scandal, and quit his original MSNBC show because of that focus.

of the party to undo all the damage that has been done over the years by those Democrats in power who sided with the secrecy and privilege of closed government allowing BushInc to grow stronger throughout the 90s while planning their return to the WH in 2000.

http://consortiumnews.com/2006/111106.html

Shouldn't ANY Dem seek to support more open government, especially after Clinton sided with protecting Poppy Bush throughout the 90s and against the truth that would have prevented a Bush2 and 9-11 and our soon to be war with Iran?

18. Keith Olbermann hasn't changed.
Some of his viewers have. They've decided that if he isn't blatantly biased in favor of their candidate, he must be blatantly biased in favor of the other, and therefore not a "real" journalist.

Of course, they've stomped on a lot of other decent media voices for the same flimsy reason, so why expect him to be any different?

I haven't heard any biased reporting and I don't even notice these sneers, although I'm not a Clinton supporter so I may not be as sensitive to that or as aware of it.

With Tweety on the other hand, you have a major point.

Newsweek came with a coronation issue after Iowa which, of course, was stale by the time I got it and was reading it while listening to the NH results.

35. It's not just that he supports Obama
That's fine, although it's sort of unprofessional to show bias towards one candidate. But what really bothers me is the total contempt on his face whenever he mentions HRC - he sneers, he mocks, he acts like he can't even stand to say the name. It's way over the top. And added to a lot of other things, it makes me think that he might have a problem w/women in general.
