How close in CA. does Obama need to call it a GOOD night?
That is in CA.

He is already ahead in total states won. So he already has had a GREAT night nationally.

Probably will lose CA. - but what would be a good loss in California specifically?

I've heard at least 40% + in CA. is still great for Obama considering the delegate situation.

GoBama!

1. He's already done well tonight. HRC thought she would have it wrapped up by now
and he has already won more states than she has. Now the rest of this month the primary calendar favors him overall.

4. 40% is an important break point for delegate count
But even if he doesn't get it, he's still had a good night.

6. we won't know tonight
delegates in Ca are allocated based on congressional districts and if Hillary's numbers are concentrated in heavily latino districts for example the delegate numbers could be very close.
