Hillary won the major states tonight - get over it and
Edited on Wed Feb-06-08 12:45 AM by sjdnb
AZ – Clinton
AR – Clinton
CA – Clinton
MA – Clinton
MO – Clinton
NJ – Clinton
NY – Clinton
OK – Clinton
TN – Clinton

Back her if you don't want another four - eight years of a Republican Executive.

Fact is, while the media might be served with a long drawn out fight -- the party and the people are not.

BTW - Neither is my candidate - IMO, the best candidates have already been eliminated.

At this point, for me, it is the lesser of two evils (any Dem candidate) - Hillary for eight years and then Obama for eight more, and if they are all we've been led to believe them to be, they just might be enough to get us out of the mess the GWBush Admin and their GOP majority (until 2006) got us into.

3. Hate to break it to you, but Obama won more states, and won the states we need to win in a general.
Hillary was only able to win 3 non-blue states.

21. Hate to break it to you but # of states does not equal delegates
Edited on Wed Feb-06-08 12:56 AM by sjdnb
and, that is all that matters. However, in the end, I don't give a rat's rear who wins - as long as we don't eat our young during this primary so as to pave the way for four to eight more years of a Repuke Prez.

And, IMO, all the trashing of either of our frontrunners is just feeding the GOP attack machine

And, the great state of MO = all of 11 delegates.

38. This is a primary, so the red state/blue state stuff doesn't really matter
Except to say that they're red states, which means that most of those states will NOT be delivering in the General anyway.

as well as she NEEDED to as the next set of states are all strong for Obama, he won't have to be trying to overcome 30% climbs as he did tonight.

Hillary's is a WEAKENING campaign - visibly so. Obama's is growing stronger.

You really want a campaign weakening at this point to be rowing your boat to shore to November?

20. I'll support whom I want to support until it's clear he's lost
Which he hasn't yet.

And there are those who would say that supporting your candidate would mean 4 to 8 more years of Republican rule.

I have met Republicans who said they'd vote for Obama if it was Obama vs McCain. But they will not vote for Hillary over McCain.

29. MO is within a point--and it could go to Obama, but delegate wise,
it ain't really a "bellwether" because it is a virtual tie.

They're calling Obama the "apparent winner" now for MO.

The prize this evening was CA. That wasn't close.

The icing was Massachusetts--it showed that Clinton voters have a strong feeling for her, and reject any attempts by DC Big Wigs and famous Tee Vee stars to sway them and take their vote from them.

New Mexico is close, still.

the states supposedly overwhelmingly pro-Obama - filled with Obamamania, guess what? - she won - not, by a little, but by a lot.

Not Ted, nor Caroline, nor, Ethel, nor Oprah, or any other come lately's who have jumped upon the Obama Celebrity Express - handed him a win in either.

And, if Hillary does win the nomination, the GOP will thank the Obama supporters for providing them with so much ammunition.
