Hillary's camp never expected it to go all the way to the convention
She expected to sweep it from the start. She was "inevitable".

Things have sure changed.

1. It wasn't in the plans. They will be flying on the cuff now.
Drop back and punt.

6. And last week, Obama expected to barnstorm today. Or so we were all supposed to think.
I don't think either one of them EVER took it for granted, I think that was the media "horse race."

7. You're right. It was the media making the horse race.
They both did step back from expectations. It was a good, close night.

2. For example, we all used to think the press was crooked
And one of Obama's many campaign slogans is "Our Time Is Now."

And the press is just swell now that it's shilling for DU's favorite candidate.

Money in politics used to be considered to be the root of all evil. Now it's a topic of bragging and gloating.

Yep, they sure have changed.

3. No, she was "inevitable"...
...and all the naysayers just needed to "get over it".

I look at it this way. I want Obama to be our nominee, but I'm glad that even if it does end up being Hillary, she will have had to fight for it, and not just have been crowned by the DLC.

9. I agree
if she gets it in the end she will have to fight for it. It should be that way, I don't want it just handed to her or even just handed to Obama. It should be worked for.
