This Was a FANTASTIC Night!
No matter whom you support, you have to admit that this was a tremendously exciting night for the Democratic Party and democracy in America. I thought I'd hate "Super Duper Tuesday," but it turns out, once again, that I was wrong.

Congratulations all around!

1. Hope you are right.
I fear McCain will put on his lets all work together crap; when he is cozy with the Neocon's. McCain the author of the surge and war for one hundred years. / What I wonder, McCain's inspiration, Connecticut's Senator Joe. Obama is thought to be slightly less pro war. Obama carried Connecticut. Wonder how Joe likes that. Connecticut Democrats again reject Joe.?

5. Connecticut Dems may well regret their sending Joe back to the Senate.
(though I don't know what his appr. ratings are)

8. Nope, not alone. It took a number of CT Dems to join them, to complete the travesty.
ha! As is so happens, check out this timely post, from today, over on DKos, which includes some polling data showing CT voter change-of-heart on their Lieberman choice...
It looks like 34% of CT Dems went for Lieberman in 2004, and 62% for Lamont.

Here's a quick (rough) breakdown of the vote, based on exit poll data...

Vote totals...
    Lieberman 563,725
    Lamont 448,077
    Schlesinger 109,329

2. I hope that the Democrats will spread out the primaries next time.

It is just to much in to short a time. It takes an unbelievable toll on the candidates and their teams.

The voters would be better served to have more time in their states with the candidates. I think it
is awful to do it this way.

At this point, it might have worked as well just to give each candidate 800 delegates and tell them
to start from now.

3. You have a point. Yet as a New Jerseyan I was thrilled to finally get
to vote in a primary. It's usually over by the time we get to vote in June.

7. Its too much in toooo long a time too.
How about all in one day, maybe if necessary a National run off. And make it a law, all FEC designated candidates get mandatory free air time. New Rule.

4. Oh, I still loathe the ultra front-loaded primaries ...
... even though they didn't snuff my second-fav candidate (like they had my first)... and feel we need to revert to a more gradual ramp-up...

... but it *was* a wonderful night, with a tie between two quality (historic) candidates, and total chaos on the Republican side. What a hoot.
