3. If Clinton wants a recount in Missouri will she have the money to cover the fees?
Last I heard at DKOS she was thought o have about 10 million, I think she raised under 15 in January. So faced with Obama's 30+million and manhy states still to run ads and expenses I would wonder if she would spend the money in Missouri on a recount?

5. Why on earth would she want a recount?
All of this nonsense comes from Keith's quoting Missouri law that the results might be eligible for a recount. He never said that the Clinton campaign wanted one; in fact he was careful to say that nothing about a recount came from the campaign. It was just a point of information.

Besides, it's not winner-take-all; it would be stupid to demand a recount, even if the law says it's possible.

As for DKos, I don't know where they get the $10 mllion figure. Link?

6. State wide recounts are very unlikely
there is no percentage in "winning" MO by 5000 or by losing by 5000.

Individual precincts and districts is another matter. If Obama or Clinton lose by a few dozen or so votes, maybe even up to a few hundred... then a recount might be asked for...

It's all about delegates.

4. Was there any national election in recent memory that NM didn't do the switch
in the last moment? Cuz I remember 2000, 2004 as well - always with the few votes

9. What was racist?
Let's not be so quick to use that accusation. "Snapping jaws" would conjure images of a hungry hunter hot on the heels of prey such as a shark, wolf or lion. Sen. Obama's campaign as it is today may indeed be likened to such a powerful creature.

Like he said today, though, that powerful creature is really us. We are the voters who are making this contest happen.
