2. You know how it's going to be spun
If Obama wins, the people have spoken.

If Clinton wins, she stole it.

38. They see it as a political talking point --- nothing more.
Even totally apolitical people say things like, "I liked Bill Clinton." or "Things have been bad since Clinton left."

I wonder if John Adams gave much thought to dynasties.

16. That's just spin too.
He did not get walloped in the delegate count. Super delegate aside, they're just about even. And I wouldn't be surprised to see a battle of the SDs in the next couple of weeks with both sides scooping them up.

25. The super delegates need to be abolished and
Edited on Wed Feb-06-08 08:22 AM by rpannier
so does the practice where the candidate with the most votes does NOT win the most delegates:

In Nevada in happened to Clinton
Today it appears to have happened to Obama in Alabama.

Proportional vote or winner-take-all I can handle.
The person with the most popular vote getting less delegates is assanine.

30. That was preordained.
A relative newcomer would have had to thrill the DLCers to win many superdelegates. They are there to enforce the status quo...though they can change their minds.
