OHIO, TEXAS -- the next big contest. Do they have early voting?
It is now clear that one cannot overcome the pattern that starts during EARLY MAIL-IN VOTING.
You cannot take your vote back, and the polling in early voting states cannot reliably track this.

5. Well, Obama team is warned. Better get to texas if you want to have a chance.
And round up some Latino leaders to endorse now. Don't wait till last week.

7. if Hillary wins Texas, she'll be the nominee..
I think Obama and Clinton will both be on the ticket now, but Obama can't lose the three largest primaries and still expect to be nominated. I agree, the Texas primary will determine who gets nominated and who the running mate will be.

3. LA, NE, WA, ME, DC, MD, VI, HI and WI come first. A lot can happen
before Texas and Ohio.

But I think people forget that WA likes to vote for women. Governor is a women both U. S. Senators are women and all three have endorsed Hillary. And don't forget the Hispanic vote. A lot of us have moved into the WA and OR. area.

12. the primaries you listed can put Obama over the top..
but only if he also wins Texas and Ohio. Obama would be the front runner today if Hillary had lost California or New York.

14. He could gain a hefty lead thru Feb, and get a big push into TX and OH.
Possibly enough to win there.

4. early voters in Texas tend to be older and more conservative
So, that favors Hillary in the early voting.

8. What happens if you early vote but die before Election Day - does your vote still count!
I'm just worried about those old and frail Clinton supporters - if they die before election day surely their early vote shouldn't count. Early voting - or at least sending in your ballot more than 10 days before election day - should be curtailed!

11. Depends in Texas
If you voted at a polling station, yes. If you vote by mail or absentee, no.

15. Not really.
There's less than 100 delegates separating the two now. If Edwards throws his delegates to Obama, there could be as few as 50 delegates between them. If Obama outpulls Hillary in most of the smaller races before Ohio and Texas, the difference could be razor thin going into Texas, and some late deciders could choose to go with the momentum.

It isn't over yet.

16. Yes, Texas and Ohio have early absentee voting
I don't know how that will help either candidate, but to answer your question, yes.
