They are the senators from Boston, not Massachusetts. They barely know this (the western) side of the state.

I'm surprised that the candidates split the two towns with large women's colleges, South Hadley and Northampton. Their but a few miles apart. I'd expect they'd go the same way.

UMASS (aka ZOO Mass or University of Massive Cement) Amherst Hampshire in those areas, and many students live off campus in nearby towns proud to be from western Mass - where we pronounce our R's
